Shipping a Firearm - FFLs & Transfer of Ownership

Pistols and Parts LLC will transfer ownership of any firearm ONLY to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means we cannot ship directly to you (unless you have an FFL).

At your request Pistols and Parts LLC will transfer your purchased firearm to a licensed gun dealer in your state. It is your responsibility to contact the FFL dealer. It is your responsibility to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer. Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transaction fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer. It is your responsibility to check with your local dealer concerning any policy of this kind and concerning your obligations. You do not pay Pistols and Parts LLC the transfer fee. By purchasing a firearm from us you acknowledge that you may have to pay your dealer a fee for transferring the gun to you.

You the buyer are responsible for forwarding a copy of the FFL and all pertinent contact information to Pistols and Parts LLC. It is now acceptable to send a signed copy of the FFL by fax, or .pdf email attachment. Our contact information is as follows:

Shipping of Firearms

Shipping of all firearms will be by USPS Priority Mail to your FFL. A flat rate of 24.95 will be charged for firearm shipments which includes insurance. Shipping of multiple firearms will incur added charges. Firearms normally ship within 2 - 3 working days after we receive your payment and a copy of the Federal Firearms License. Estimated shipping time for Priority Mail is usually 2 - 3 days to your FFL.

Shipping of Parts & Accessories

Shipping and handling of parts and accessories will be by best way, usually UPS Ground insured or Priority Mail Insured whenever possible, for a flat rate of $10.95 per order. If you require expedited shipping, the shipping fees will be greater. You must contact us for a quote if you require expedited shipping. Parts and accessories normally ship within 2 - 3 days, depending on when the order was placed, after the payment is received. Estimated shipping time for Priority Mail is usually 2 - 3 days.

International/Non-United States Orders

Pistols and Parts LLC does not ship orders Internationally

New Firearms Are Non-Returnable Except As Noted Below.

Firearm Returns

Please inspect your handgun thoroughly before proceeding with the transfer. Once the handgun is transferred to you it is considered USED, even if you have not fired it.Consequently, we cannot take the handgun back and resell it as new. If you find the handgun defective before the transfer, have your transfer agent return the handgun to us for replacement or refund. Should you find the firearm defective after the transfer, your manufacturers warranty will apply. Pistols and Parts LLC offers no other warranties either expressed or implied.

Parts and Accessories Returns

Our return policy is quite simple. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within five (5) days of receiving your order, then contact us at 740-919-0550 for instructions on returning the product for replacement or refund. A restocking fee of 15% of the sale price will be deducted from the refund amount. The restocking fee would not apply to defective merchandise deemed as such by Pistols and Parts LLC. All returns must be in new, unused condition. There are no returns on parts and accessories kept longer then five (5) days from the date you receive them. Return shipping will be your responsibility.

California - No magazines above 10 rounds.

Hawaii - No pistol magazines over 10 rounds.

Illinois (Chicago) - No magazines above 12 rounds.

Illinois (Aurora) - No magazines above 15 rounds.

Illinois (Oak Park) - No magazines above 10 rounds.

Indiana (South Bend) - No magazines above 15 rounds.

Maryland – No Handguns. No magazines above 20 rounds.

Massachusetts - No Handguns. No magazines above 10 rounds.

New Jersey - No Hi-Cap magazines over 15 rounds without a FFL.

New York State – Firearms legal to upper NY STATE. No Shipping to NYC

Washington DC - No Handguns. No magazines above 10 rounds. No Ammo.

Shipping to New York State: We ship all NY legal firearms to select counties in upper New York state.
